3BLACKDOT Oauth Talent Team Data Request Details

The 3Blackdot Oauth Talent Team Data Request tool is used by 3blackdot to collect and evaluate data from our partnered youtube creators. The tool collects information on your youtube page on your past video performance, financial performance of your channel over time, video details, and channel details. The team at 3blackdot then uses this information to help aid our partners to expand and improve their channels performance.

The 3BLACKDOT Oauth Talent Team Data Request tool utilizes the Report API and Data API. The tool utilizes the following permissions/scopes

  • Youtube Analytics Monetary Read Only: This scope allows for 3blackdot to view ad performance, estimated revenue, and user activity within the Reports API.
  • Youtube Analytics Read Only: This scope allows for 3blackdot to view user activity such as view counts, likes, engagement, etc. within the Reports API.
  • Youtube Read Only: This scope allows for 3blackdot to view user activity such as, like, views, engagement, etc. within the Data API.

All of the above scope are read only meaning that 3blackdot can only view account information detailed above, not change it. The first two scopes are used in compiling financial information while the third scope is used to access video/channel information that is used to segment the data. 3BLACKDOT Oauth Talent Team Data Request Process

Step 1: An authentication link is sent to the partnered creator in order to enable the tool to collect data.

Step 2: Once the tool is authorized data regarding all video performance and details requested from the Youtube Reporting API and Data API.

Step 3: The data is then transferred to the talent team at which point they review the datain order to help make informed decisions.
